Inventory History

Inventory history is the complete log of every quantity change for an item. In Peasy, inventory history shows every receive, fulfillment, adjustment, transfer, and production event with timestamps and details.

How It Works in Peasy

  • View inventory history from an item's detail page under the History tab
  • Each entry shows the date, type of movement, quantity change, lot (if applicable), and who made the change
  • Filter history by movement type (receives, adjustments, sales, production, transfers)
  • History is location-specific — you can see movements at a single location or across all locations
  • Entries link back to the source document (PO, SO, work order, etc.)

Why It Matters

Inventory history provides full traceability for audits, troubleshooting, and quality control. When stock numbers don't match expectations, history tells you exactly what happened, when, and why.
