Invoice

An invoice is a document requesting payment from a customer for goods sold. In Peasy, invoices are generated from fulfilled sales orders and track what customers owe you.

How It Works in Peasy

  • Invoices are created when you fulfill a sales order (or manually)
  • Invoices are managed from a sales order's detail page
  • Each invoice shows line items, totals, tax, and payment status
  • Send invoices to customers via email with a magic link for online payment
  • Invoices have two status axes: invoice status (Draft → Issued → Canceled) and payment status (Unpaid → Partially Paid → Paid → Overpaid)
  • Invoices sync to QuickBooks as accounts receivable when connected

Why It Matters

Invoices close the selling loop — after you take the order (SO) and ship the goods (fulfillment), the invoice tracks what's owed. Peasy lets customers pay online directly from the invoice, reducing the time between shipping and getting paid.
