Using the Inbox

The Inbox collects incoming items that need your attention — emails, uploaded documents, and other things that haven't been processed yet. Think of it as your to-process queue.

How to Get There

Click Inbox near the top of the sidebar. A red badge shows how many unprocessed items are waiting.

What Shows Up in the Inbox

  • Incoming emails — Emails sent to your Peasy orders address (like yourcompany@orders.peasyos.com)
  • Uploaded documents — PDFs and other files uploaded by your team
  • Vendor bills — Documents that need to be matched and processed

Processing Inbox Items

When you open an inbox item:

  1. Review the contents — See the email or document details
  2. Decide what it is — A vendor bill? A customer order? Something else?
  3. Process it — Convert it into the appropriate record (bill, order, etc.)
  4. Once processed, the item leaves your inbox

Good to Know

  • The red badge on Inbox clears as you process items.
  • Emails sent to your Peasy orders address automatically appear here.
  • You can also upload documents directly to Bills or Orders pages instead of going through the Inbox.
  • Peasy uses AI to help extract information from uploaded documents (vendor names, amounts, line items).
