Fulfillment
Fulfillment is the process of picking, packing, and shipping goods to complete a sales order. In Peasy, fulfilling a sales order deducts inventory and optionally generates an invoice.
How It Works in Peasy
- Fulfill a sales order from its detail page
- Enter the quantities being shipped — you can partially fulfill if not everything is ready
- Fulfillment deducts on-hand inventory at the order's location
- If lot tracking is enabled, select which lots to ship from
- After fulfillment, you can generate an invoice for the shipped quantities
- Partial fulfillments keep the SO open for remaining items
Why It Matters
Fulfillment is where sales orders become real — inventory leaves your warehouse and goes to the customer. It's the moment that on-hand quantity decreases and revenue can be recognized. Getting fulfillment right means accurate inventory and happy customers.
