Peasy for Wholesalers and Distributors
If you buy products in bulk from vendors and sell them to other businesses, you need more than a basic inventory tracker. You need to manage dozens of vendors, track stock across multiple warehouses, set different prices for different customers, fulfill orders accurately, and get paid on time.
Peasy connects your entire wholesale workflow — purchasing, warehousing, selling, invoicing, and payments — into one system. No more juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected tools.
Managing Your Product Catalog
In Peasy, every product has a parent item that acts as the product concept. Under each parent, you set up buy items (what you purchase from vendors) and sell items (what you sell to customers). This structure lets you buy a case of 24 units from your vendor while selling individual units to your customers — with automatic inventory tracking at every level.
Learn more about how items and units work in Understanding Items and Units.
Purchasing at Scale
Wholesale businesses live and die by purchasing. Peasy helps you:
- Manage vendors — Track who supplies what, at what price, with what terms and lead times. See Managing Vendors.
- Create purchase orders — Build POs from your buy cart, from low-stock alerts, or manually. Send them to vendors directly from Peasy. See Creating Purchase Orders.
- Set restock points — Define minimum stock levels per item so Peasy alerts you before you run out. See Restock Points.
- Track bills — When vendor invoices arrive, match them to POs and track what you owe. See Managing Bills.
For an overview of the full purchasing workflow, see the Buying Overview.
Receiving and Warehousing
When deliveries arrive, receive against your purchase orders to update inventory automatically. Peasy handles partial receives — if only half your order shows up, it tracks what's arrived and what's still outstanding.
For a complete view of the receiving workflow, see the Receiving Overview.
Inventory Across Multiple Locations
Most wholesalers operate across multiple warehouses or storage areas. Peasy tracks inventory at each location independently, so you know exactly what's available where.
Need to move stock between warehouses? Use inventory transfers or create transfer orders to track shipments between locations. Run regular inventory counts to keep your numbers accurate.

Selling to Your Customers
Peasy gives you the tools to manage B2B sales from quote to payment:
- Customer accounts — Track contact details, addresses, payment terms, and order history. See Managing Customers.
- Price lists — Set different prices for different customer tiers — wholesale, retail, VIP, or custom pricing per customer. See Price Lists.
- Sales orders — Create orders, pick and fulfill from inventory, and generate invoices. See Creating Sales Orders.
- Catalog and storefront — Build a product catalog and set up a storefront so customers can browse and place orders online.
- Invoice reminders — Automate follow-ups on outstanding invoices. See Invoice Reminders.
For a full view of sales tools, see the Selling Overview.
Getting Paid
Peasy's built-in payment processing lets you accept ACH and card payments directly. Send invoices with a secure payment link so customers can pay online without calling or mailing checks.
Track payment history and review accounts receivable to see who owes you and how much.
Syncing with Your Accounting Software
If you use QuickBooks for bookkeeping, Peasy's QuickBooks integration keeps your accounting in sync. Customers, vendors, and invoices flow between the two systems automatically — so your operations team works in Peasy and your bookkeeper works in QuickBooks, without duplicating data.
If you also sell online through Shopify, the Shopify integration syncs products and inventory between your store and Peasy.
Common Questions
Can I set different prices for different customers? Yes. Price lists let you define pricing tiers — wholesale, retail, preferred, or custom — and assign them to individual customers. When you create a sales order for that customer, Peasy automatically applies the right prices.
Does Peasy handle partial shipments? Yes. You can partially fulfill a sales order, shipping some items now and the rest later. Peasy tracks what's been shipped and what's still pending.
Can my customers place orders online? Yes. Set up a storefront with your product catalog so customers can browse products, see their pricing, and submit orders directly.
How do I track what customers owe me? Use the Accounts Receivable view to see all outstanding invoices, aging buckets, and payment status across your customer base.
Can I manage multiple warehouses? Yes. Set up each warehouse as a location in Peasy. Inventory is tracked per location, and you can transfer stock between warehouses as needed.
